Board and Staff
SJCS is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1985. SJCS is recognized as a certified community and housing development organization (CHDO), with a Board of Trustees who are actively involved in the oversight of the agency. The Board of Trustees contains members from banking, construction, development, marketing, engineering, and business management and engaged community members from Camden and the surrounding communities.
SJCS staff is highly mission driven and has been very stable over the years, with many employees being on staff for over ten years. The current staff is very flexible and cross-trained, allowing for the small staff to assist one another with tasks when necessary.
